recently i've been thinking a lot about why i want to have a blog. i mean, since the beginning of the year i started not one, not two - but three blogs - a small indication i might have been suffering from blogging identity crisis? but something just always felt a little off kilter. not quite right. i realise why now.
i never really considered {my} intentions behind blogging.
i sort of leaped into it as a fan of many blogs and didn't really consider what my personal purpose of one would be. so each time i had a new direction, i created a new blog! needless to say none of them had probably a whole lot of substance! but it all came together this evening...
i want a blog to {connect}.
i have been blessed with incredibly dear friends and an amazingly loving family. i would like to share more of myself and our life with them in the hopes that they will feel inspired to do the same. geographically we are widely seperated, from cam's family in particular, and i want to find some way of bridging that gap.
it doesn't have to be via a blog of course, but for me this is the perfect medium because i find it easier to share in writing.
which leads me to the move. with this new {intention} in mind i have created a new blog for this journey. as much as i have enjoyed this blog there are many elements here that are not me. now that i have a clearly defined path i wish to start afresh.
however in the short time since i've started this blog, there have been those who have warmly welcomed me and i hope you will continue with me here.

Very moved by your thoughtful words.....sometimes words from a mere stranger are more easily absorbed than from those whose history and yours are too closely intertwined. You have a lot to offer - go for it!
