{meet possibility}

somedays she looks a little like chuck from pushing daisies ~
colourful and retro.
she's a bubble of pure positivity,
her enthusiasm is infectious,
and when you're with her ~
the wild and improbable seem weirdly...
possible :)

she's fun,
unafraid.
of life.
of herself.
she sings out loud,
even though it's a little out of tune,
she does a mean david brent impression on the dance floor,
and can pull at least 12 funny faces!

yet she can be quiet too.
with you,
and with herself.
she can allow a moment to hold its potency,
and be comfortable with the uncomfortable.

she can do the sun salutation,
and knows the difference between asthanga, bikram and iyengar.
but she can also update you on all the latest from last nights x-factor!

she reads like someone on a treasure hunt,
often finding unexpected jewels along the way.
and her books map the different routes she's taken,
including many false starts.

yet she is unashamed of her experiences,
success or failure,
she is happy to share her stories ~
not embarassed to laugh out loud, or cry ~
because she is proud of her bravery.

she plays the typewriter like mozart.
letting words flow freely ~
experimenting with ideas as composers do sound...

and she doesn't care what others think of her,
but cares deeply about others.
she steps out, and up,
even though she's scared.
masked with a wide smile,
she trusts it will be ok.

she will always remember your birthday,
and gives you exactly what you need.

she paints wildly on huge canvases,
her fingers and hair giving away the colours of her heart.

she grows her own vegetables,
can do your tarot and birth charts,
plays 1 song on the guitar,
and can eat an entire wholenut chocolate bar in front of the telly.

she loves her girlfriends.
how they can sing into wooden spoons one night,
then cuddle on the sofa with a bottle of wine,
nursing their wings and sharing stories of taking flight the next.

her home smells of a sweet mix between fresh banana cake and nag champa.
at night it dances by fairy lights and candle flames.

she's senuous and adores her curves.
she embraces and honours her femininity.

she allows herself to be vulnerable with the people she loves,
to lay herself bare;
trusting they will love all they see ~
believing in possibility.

thanks SARK for the inspiration
