* polaroid girl

it's been awhile since i've had the time,
and inspiration,
to come by these pages.
but yesterday,
when basking in the company of five extraordinary women,
my passion was reignited.

unfortunately time is not on my side this morning,
but suffice to say i shall be making a more frequent appearance again ~
after all,
if i'm going to be part of the BBC*,
i best do some actual blogging!

for now,
i just wanted to say a BIG thank you to these muses:
meg, for being wonderful and gracious;
despite fighting the lurgy,
she cooked us delicious soup and put on a feast of fruity delights.
she's also got some magical things brewing,
and the teasing taster she shared with us just makes me want to hear more!

susannah, the polaroid queen,
classy, witty and one of those women you wish you knew.
how lucky am i, that i do.

leonie, who meg described so aptly.
she does sparkle.
she's genuine. real.
and as a result, makes you feel you can be too.

jo. wise and comforting.
she asks questions, and listens for the answer.
she hears you,
and always offers exactly what you need hear back.

last, but by no means least, emma.
she is a real-life yummy mummy.
she made the most amazing scones,
and carried all her crafting bits and pieces in a basket...
she made homemade cordial,
and picked wild flowers from her garden for meg...
how i love her style!

thank you,
you wonderfully delicious, fabulous, nourishing, beautiful women.
i had a great day.
