finally!
it's taken me 13 days... but finally,
finally i went on my artists date today.
i decided to make 5 little cards and walk into town, leaving them somewhere along the way...
i had so much fun! in fact i want to do it again next week: potentially spending a little more time making the cards (i was on a strict timetable, so only had an hour to muster something up to take with me...)
the picture above is of one of the cards. it reads "hello" on the front and inside says: "thank you for being here".
if you have any positive affirmations i can include in my next batch of cards: please let me know!

and yes, tanaya! i love dancing mermaids painted rocks, and might even do that for one of my future dates! fun, fun, fun!!!
ooo I love how you just left them places. I bet it was uplifting. I sure hope the person who finds each one of them gets a smile and it makes their day much better.

That's one of the best ideas I've ever heard! I also like Lily's idea of leaving books (being such a book lover and all). To be able to see the faces of the people who found those cards...

what a great idea. i think i will try this sometime. i would love to just be walking and find one of these cards that say something like:
"have you smiled today?" or "you are irreplaceable"
or some other positive quote
that would surely make my day
what you are doing is a beautiful thing....
